Dior Diva

Recently I went shopping specifically for some Bobbi Brown lip gloss (I love it) at Nordstrom. I ended up chatting with one of their associates Sam. She let me go at my own pace and pick what I liked without rushing me, which was a nice change. She also recommended a Christian Dior mascara and all I have to say is WOW!

The mascara she showed me is pictured above and is called DIORSHOW ICONIC OVERCURL. Not only does this mascara darken lashes but it also separates, lengthens, and curls! I am a girl obsessed with this lovely mascara. One tip I will give to everyone is to make sure to take a fair amount of mascara off the wand as it tends to pick up WAY too much product, which leads to a bit of a mess. It is slightly more expensive than most mascaras but in this case you really do get what you pay for.

Since I mentioned it above I should talk about about Bobbi Brown for a bit. I really love this woman and love the fact that her brand is about enhancing your already beautiful self. Her makeup doesn't completely change the look of an individual but simply enhances their natural beauty. My first encounter with Bobbi Brown products was thanks to my Aunt Nancy! She sent me a few products to try out from the icon and I fell in love instantly. I've never had a lip gloss that truly goes all day like this one does.

I kid you not this stuff is absolutely amazing! It is fairly 'sticky' just a warning for those of you that don't enjoy a sticky lip gloss. I love it since it stays put and doesn't move around all day. I generally have to reapply every 4 hours or so to have the fully pigmented effect. I ended up getting a sample of cleanser from Bobbi Brown as I was too skeptical to purchase it without trying it. I do have to say it was another amazing product! I can't remember exactly which one it was but I will keep you posted when I end up needing more cleanser, which always seems to be sooner rather than later.
This post has been a tribute to two fantastic iconic people and product lines! Cheers to Christian Dior and Bobbi Brown!
